经过大概一周的零星但精心的策划，我们游览了：

Grand Center Terminal：就看了里面，跟电视剧里的一样

MoMa:看不懂当代艺术

哥大：取了两次都是晚上，那个看不到猫头鹰就毕不了业很吓人

纽约的自然历史博物馆：还是华盛顿的那个更亲切

Broadway show (The Phantom of Opera):音乐很赞，可惜座位有点远，下次要看还是得买orchestra席

看大桥，喝东西：当属我最喜欢的一个环节，最后一群人总逃不掉八卦

IBM Watson Research Center @ Yorktown （我猜噢）

Ossining火车站+Hudson River：很赞的neighbourhood，很漂亮的河。

 

千辛万苦与HWT又见了一面。

此次旅行于纽约地铁作了两次斗争，最终都以迟到半小时告终，HWT是最大受害者。

感谢慷慨的师兄师姐，免费提供食宿，还请我吃了大餐，喝了beer。

感谢伟大的IBM，还有generous的师兄们，与我们分享了IBM的福利，Amazing IBM!

此行还遇到一UCLA的牛人，大开眼界。

 

我们真是应当Work hard, Play harder。大家一起商量，各尽所能，造就了一次完美的旅行。

虽然前期的准备有一点点工作量（关键我误会了“主席背后的主席”的意思，做了一张吓人的行程表，不过决定以后一律用此模板），但是一切都很值得啊。

我决定重新担起“主席”之责任，3字班在US的清华北大的SHSers，等着我来骚扰你们，然后在US重现一下我们的北京聚会吧:)

 

 

Today in the afternoon, I needed to go to OIP. I forgot to bring something and had to get back and go there again.

On the way, I run into my former roommate @Penn last semester, who I did not talk to for so long and almost lost connection with.

We could not help having a hug and chat for a while about our updates. She is going to be in NY next semester for her intern.

It is so nice to have talked to her. And thank God let us meet again. We exchanged our cell phone and planned to hang out in August definitely.

Last semester is so hard. Our schedules do not match, and we both were busy. It is sad that we even did not get across the bathroom doors between our room, and suddenly lost connection without a goodbye when we moved out. But it does not matter, we will both cherish our "second chance".

 

It is really a good sign. I am so excited! I have a feeling, this semester @Penn will be great!

There is 31 hours from now for me to start to meet some of my important friends in NYC, can't wait for it any longer!

I bet it will be a perfect weekend, although I am already a little sad at thought of saying goodbye to each other in about 55 hours from now...

End up in hospital unavoidably! My mum said it is impossible for me to avoid letting hospital make money. And she is really mad at me since I did not take care of myself and I am thinner than before.

 

And I am sorry I do not have time and strength to meet a lot of friends during my short stay in Shanghai.

 

I hate UA, delay, delay, always delay! I am too exhausted after a 24-hour trip.

 

The happy ending is that I finally met Gugu, I had lunch with be03ers, Abby and labmates... And the beautiful view outside the plane.

 

Already miss home now.

买回来的免驱USB2.0的摄像头不能用，每次都叫我装驱动。

忍受着家里破电脑奇慢无比的速度，终于百度到配套的驱动软件，发现此驱动非彼驱动，还是不行。

想着下一次回来都不知道是什么时候的事了，把家里的破电脑搞搞好，以便一家人可以常常视频，于是不停地重装电脑，折腾到半夜2点，还是不行。

经反复研究琢磨，发现是少了一个usbvideo.sys的文件，电脑白吃的我竟然以为只要把这个文件下下来，拷进去就好了……

不甘心啊，在电脑的windows文件夹里东逛西逛，发现原来很多driver都是通过sp1装的，料定解决问题的办法在于装一个sp2。

清理空间很久，连office也不装了，终于腾出地来装了sp2，问题解决了。要是老老实实一开始就装sp2，就不会那么多事了。

 

等待安装其间想把家里电视机搞搞清楚，挨个紧一遍各个插头，再重新搜一次台，依旧雪花满频幕飞啊。

再一次想起一个美国朋友埋怨她念环境PhD的丈夫，说连个电视机都修不了，算什么工程师，狂汗，要知道我可是连灯泡都只换过一次。

早晨，应该说是中午起床，家里没水了，应该是水泵的问题，导致顶上两层没水。可是，除了象征性地帮妈妈去楼下打桶水，什么也做不了。

下学期好好锻炼身体，起码提水时，可以一次提两桶……

 

所幸发生那么多事期间，没有听到一句“读那么多书，有什么用的话”，不然真的要找个洞钻下去了。
